My Recipe

  • It all starts with a concept, the foundation that keeps everything afloat. No matter where I am, whether it’s in the supermarket, driving in the car, or in my apartment with my roommates, I’m always looking for a problem to solve or something to redesign.

  • After forming a concept, it’s time to do some research and sketching. I always try to look for that unique twist that will take the idea to the next level. There’s a lot of trial and error but if there wasn’t then I wouldn’t be pushing myself outside of the box.

  • Every concept has different elements that help bring the idea to life. Making sure each piece is cohesive to the brand and blends together is very important. I try to view each part of the concept as it’s own while always making sure it has those little details to tie it back to the idea.

  • This is where the fun begins. Now that I’ve solidified my concept, went through multiple iterations, and found a direction that makes sense, it’s time to get into the details. I love adding unique touches to my designs. Finding ways to make my concept stand out and catch someone’s eye is key when designing.

  • Finally, we get to my favorite part, seeing my concept come to life. From just an idea in my mind, I’m able to create and physically build my concept. This is the most rewarding part! I spend so much time and energy that when I’m finally able to take a step back I can really appreciate what I did.
